Preparing for Ben's Birthday

Ben has requested his grandmother's Christmas pudding for his birthday dessert. It is my first attempt at this recipe.

It came out of the mold! Tomorrow we'll see if it taste as it should.

We have been desensitizing Maple to loud noises such as the blender or coffee grinder by giving her teats when they are running. Today I made pie crust in the food processor and Maple came running over looking for a treat. Pretty smart puppy!

 Maple is loving all of her big sister, Kadin's toys

It was very painful to unpack the box of toys but comforting to see them flying around the room again and resting peacefully under that sweet little face. Maple is true to her name.
