About two weeks ago we bought 5 acres in Waterbury, VT. Waterbury is 20 minutes west of where we are now. It is about 10 minutes from Stowe and 30 minutes from Burlington. Our plan is to start building this summer. We are going to build a 1700 square foot wood shop with a two bedroom apartment above it. Today was our first day working at the land. We laid out the boundaries of the site. We also had our first lunch on the land. Maple is very much at home on the property and loves the neighbors' dog, Scout.
